ABOUT MR. FRAZIER

Mr. Frazier is the music teacher at Hartman. Mr. Frazier went to college at UNL and got a Masters in Music recently from UNO. Outside of Hartman, Mr. Frazier performs with Opera Omaha with the singing ensemble. He also has a puppy named Charlotte that keeps him busy when he is not at school. What I love about Hartman is being able to work with students from the time they are in kindergarten all the way up to fifth grade. I enjoy seeing students grow and learn so much.

ABOUT MS. SCHERMERHORN

This will be my ninth year teaching art at Hartman! I have subbed and traveled to different schools within and outside of our district. Hartman really takes the cake! The staff here are fun and supportive and our students are all unique and eager to learn. Everyone is an artist and our students love expressing themselves in different ways, exploring new art materials, and problem solving. When I'm not at school, I really take advantage of my free time! My husband and I love to travel any chance we get. I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, fostering cats, collecting plants, going to movies, and spending time with friends and family. I'm looking forward to making art together this year!

ABOUT MRS. SERFASS

I'm thrilled to be joining the Hartman Hawks this year as the Library Media Specialist.  Prior to Hartman, I've taught 5th and 6th grade for about 10 years, as well as being in the library for the past 2 years.  I've always loved reading, and children's books have a special place in my heart.  My favorite part of being a librarian is helping kids find that perfect book for them.  I go by the motto- "A book for every reader, a reader for every book." Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and two kids, swimming, being artsy, enjoying the outdoors, and of course, READING!
