EVERY DAY READ A BOOK OF YOUR CHOICE FOR 20 MINS. DISCUSS WHAT YOU READ WITH SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSE. 

Since this is the last week of lessons, we are going to do something different. Find a book or story. This could be online from a place like EPIC! BOOKSSTORYLINE ONLINE, STORYTOWN TEXTBOOK, a book from your home, or any other place you may find a book or story online. You will return to this book all week long, so choose a book that you enjoy.  

Mon:  

  • We are going to review story elements today. Read your story and identify the story elements. You may email your teacher your answers.  

  • Here is a review of story elements. Watch WHAT IS A CHARACTER? and WHAT IS A SETTING?.  

 

Tue: 

  • Today we are going to review problem, solution/resolution, and plot events. Read your story and fill out a plot graphic organizer. Take a picture of your graphic organizer and send it to your teacher.  

  • Review plot events with PLOT MOUNTAIN! VIDEO

  • Make your own plot mountain. 

 

Wed: 

  • Today we are going to review main idea and supporting details. Read your story and fill out a main idea graphic organizer. Take a picture of your graphic organizer and send it to your teacher.
