- Read 20 minutes every day.
- Daily Writing Prompt: Choose one prompt EACH DAY and spend 15 minutes writing. You should have 5 or more sentences for each prompt.
Writing Learning Goal:
- I can create examples of functional writing
- Write directions for a game you know how to play. Make sure you include number of players, setting up the game, objective, step by step directions
- Write a recipe of a food you know how to make. Make sure to include ingredients and step by step directions
- Write step by step directions on how draw a picture
- Create a travel poster for a place you would like to travel
- Choose a skill that you have. Write step by step directions or create a poster to teach someone else this skill

- Epic!- Log on to Epic! and read BOTH penguin books assigned to you. (One fiction and one non-fiction)

- Copy and complete the compare and contrast and author’s purpose worksheet over the penguin books you read. Copy and fill in the highlighted parts. The rest of the words are just there to help you!

- Click on the link to access vocabulary Power Point. Complete your vocabulary notebook for lesson 25. Include word, definition, picture, synonym, and antonym.
