Read 20 minutes every day.  

Daily Writing Journal:  Create a daily writing journal. 

Write about anything you want. You can also journal about your daily learning: 

• If you could have one wish what would it be? 

• Write a paragraph to persuade your teacher to do something different next year . 

• What did you learn? 

Weekly Learning Goal:  

• Using text features in stories to find information and writing and defending an opinion   

Choice Activities: 

• Read the story Working in Space Lesson 28 in Journeys page 414-430 look for the text features as you are reading the story.
